DANNY Dyer cried when he watched his daughter Dani struggle on Love Island.
The EastEnders actor was choked up when his actress daughter struggled on the show when she learned what Jack was like, revealed his his wife Jo Mas.
She told the Mirror: "Danny wasn't happy at first when she was going into the show but at the moment he thinks Dani has done well with her behaviour.
"He got a bit choked up when she was sad about finding out Jack was a t***. That's his daughter and they have a very close bond."
It comes after Danny wished her well alongside a picture of himself and a young Dani on Instagram, the EastEnders star wrote: "Me and the Wife have come to accept the fact that we was put on the planet to reproduce Love Islanders"
"B****cks...oh well...embrace it....good luck in 2028 Sunnie....❤. #doubledoubleproud #TeamDani."
It's the first time he's spoken publicly about Dani's stint on the reality show since his daughter entered the villa earlier this week.
He would have seen Dani dump her reality partner Jack Fincham in a matter of days after he confessed to cheating on previous girlfriends.
She then had a change of heart and ended up snogging him on Thursday night's show.
Prior to appearing on the show, Dani told The Sun her dad "wasn't overjoyed" at the idea.
Asked if he gave her his blessing to have sex on the ITV2 dating reality show if she wants to, she revealed: “Yes. But I won’t. He said that because he wants to put me at ease.
“He is so laid back in everything I do. He said, ‘Whatever you want to do, go do it.’ And I’m like, ‘Ah thanks, dad.’
“I would never have sex on TV. I know everyone says they wouldn’t but I don’t think I would. But he said to me, ‘Listen, if that’s something you did’, and I stopped him there and said, ‘No I wouldn’t.’
“He doesn’t want me to ruin my time there, thinking, ‘Oh, my dad.’
“He’s cool, as long as I respect myself and don’t do anything silly in there. It’s being respectful in the way of having sex. I wouldn’t do it on TV. But my dad is in the industry as well so I have to respect the fact that anything that comes at me will also come at him and it isn’t fair on him. He doesn’t need it at all.”
But he was encouraged by her mum Joanne and will even fly out to make a guest appearance if she reaches the final stages of the competition.
Despite his reservations, Dani believes he will shed a tear if she finds romance while in the villa.
She added: “I’m his daughter. He wasn’t overjoyed but he said to me he just wants me to respect myself.
