Coronation Street set ‘targeted by swingers for sex’ as thrill-seekers share kinky snaps outside Dev’s corner shop

Security guards have reportedly been brought in to keep any eye out for any suspicious behaviour spotted on set

THRILL-seekers have shared kinky snaps from the new £10million Coronation Street set, which has become a hot spot for swingers.

The Daily Star reports that wife-swappers and flashers have been sneaking off for secret romps on the famous cobbles during a set tour.

A source said security staff have been brought in to put a stop to any kinky action at the Manchester soap's base.

It's after a swinger on a kinky sex site claimed: "Visited Corrie set the other day and managed to slip behind Street Cars for a little play with my FB. Got cheeky flashing pics outside Dev’s shop too.

“Anyone else got any risky locations ticked off?”

The new set opened to members of the public on May 26.

Corrie's newly-extended set includes a police station, courthouse, Costa coffee shop, Co-op, tattoo parlour and a Weatherfield North tram station.

It's the first time the public has been able to see the set since tours of the former set in Manchester city centre closed in 2015.

Corrie's old Manchester set has now been demolished.

Tours - which will be of the outside lot - will only take place on Saturdays and Sundays, because it's rarely used for filming during the weekend.

Outgoing series producer Kate Oates said: “The Victoria Street extension represents an exciting chapter in Corrie history: an amazing new stage, full of dramatic potential.

"Our amazingly talented design team have created everything from scratch - but it still manages to have the feeling of always having been there, just around the corner.”

The Sun Online has contacted Coronation Street reps for comment.
