CORONATION Street bosses are holding auditions this week for sexy girls as they look to hire at least two stunning new stars.
Now writers have been ordered to create roles for attractive women as ITV look to give the soap sex appeal.
A show source told the Sun’s Bizarre column: “You just have to look at the success of the likes of Michelle Keegan and Helen Flanagan to know it’s a formula that works.
“So now the show is hosting a number of auditions in the hope some attractive young ladies with acting skills steps forward and fits their bill.
“No doubt Manchester is full of the above so I’m sure they’ll have no trouble filling the roles.”
A set source added: "There has been a steady stream of beautiful actresses coming in for auditions and meetings about the new roles recently.
"It hasn't gone unnoticed. They've been turning a lot of heads."
