LIVERPOOL'S £57million move for Nabil Fekir is in doubt with the club stalling following the completion of his medical, according to reports.
It appeared a deal had been struck between the two sides for the transfer of the France international, until his current side Lyon post a tweet where they categorically denied this.
And now The Telegraph are reporting the move is in doubt as Liverpool hesitate on closing the deal after the player took his medical.
Fekir, 24, suffered a serious knee injury while playing for France three years ago and it is unclear if the hold-up is related to that.
Liverpool had been hoping to conclude the deal before the start of the World Cup and a deal looked close.
Reports had been suggesting Lyon would release a statement confirming the transfer — instead they categorically denied an agreement has been reached.

Liverpool have been very busy in the early part of this transfer window, completing a £44m deal for Fabinho just days after losing in the Champions League final.
Meanwhile, Naby Keita will officially be able to line up for Liverpool, having secured a move for this transfer window last summer.
