Teen who falsely accused ex-boyfriend of rape ordered to pay £200

Hannah Sandover, 18, told a pal her ex, also 18, spiked her water bottle and forced himself on her and as a result the lad was arrested

A TEEN who claimed her ex-boyfriend drugged and raped her when he refused to rekindle their romance has been ordered to pay £200.

Hannah Sandover, 18, told a pal her ex, also 18, spiked her water bottle and forced himself on her in his car during a trip to the Westbury White Horse in Wiltshire.

Her pal went to police who arrested the lad. Sandover told cops: “He pinned me down.”

She later admitted she made her story up and they had consensual sex.

Sandover, then of Southwick, Wilts, admitted wasting police time at Salisbury JPs court.

Prosecutor Ryan Seneviratine said she was extremely lucky she was not charged with perverting justice.
