Last week 22-year-old Demi Sweeney, pictured, was too frightened to tackle a spider in her home – so she ordered a KFC through Deliveroo and got Joe, who arrived with her dinner, to dispose of the creepy-crawly.
Nick Pritchard ordered food from some of the major delivery firms to see if their workers would also go beyond the call of duty to help him with menial jobs.
But he had parked his car in the middle of the road and had to dash off – so I nailed it myself.

Unbelievably, pizza delivery guy Abdul Yousaf agreed to help me carry it across the room. He certainly earned his crust.
I grab a jar from the cupboard but the stubborn lid won’t open. Big, strong driver Athilla Proti arrives with my delivery to help prise it open. Macnificent work.
Unfortunately, I was not as lucky as Demi. The delivery man thought my request was a bit odd and said no. ’Roo got to be kidding.
