LLOYD Klein is a Canadian-born fashion designer who is the fiancé of so-called "cat woman" Jocelyn Wildenstein.
Let’s take a closer look at the life and career of Klein.
Who is Lloyd Klein?
Klein, 51, was born in Montreal, Canada, but was raised in Paris by his French parents.
He first trained as an architecture at the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, before studying fashion.
In 1998 he moved to the US after starting his self-titled fashion label.
In 2004, he was left in a coma for two days after a car accident near Paris.
When did he become engaged to Jocelyn Wildenstein?
In July 2017, it emerged that Klein was engaged Jocelyn Wildenstein, the woman famed for her feline-like surgically-enhanced face.
The pair have reportedly been dating for over 14 years.
The fashion designer proposed with a 32 carat ring which he claimed is worth “millions”.
Announcing their happy news tonight, Lloyd – who designed the ring himself – said: “It was romantic, dramatic and wonderful. I showed Jocelyn the ring and she said "yes!" - she was in heaven!”
Jocelyn, who was once the world’s richest divorcee after getting a £1.94 billion settlement after her break up with her ex-husband Alec, can only wear the ring on certain occasions because it is so expensive.
In fact, two bodyguards are on hand at all times to take the ring to a safe place once it’s off her finger.
Speaking to the MailOnline, 71-year-old Jocelyn added: “It doesn't matter how much it cost.
“I have many rings and pieces of jewelry. I love this one because it came from the heart.”
The couple’s relationship has not always run smooth and, in December, Jocelyn's mugshot was released after she faced charges of slashing Lloyd’s face with scissors.
Who is Jocelyn Wildenstein?
The Swiss-born Wildenstein pumped millions of dollars into cosmetic surgery procedures to please her cat-loving, art-dealing husband, Alec Wildenstein, who died in 2008.
Since starting her plastic surgery odyssey, it is thought the New York socialite has undergone canthopexy, a procedure that elevates the eyes to give them a cat-like appearance.
Looking at photographs before she went under the knife, she has made an extraordinary transformation.
Along with this expert say she has had upper and lower eyelid surgery, a brow-lift, face-lift, lip-plumping injections, chin augmentation, fat grafting and/or cheek implants.
But the 71-year-old has said she is not finished with plastic surgery yet and has claimed not to have an addiction to surgery.
