Aries - Accept you don’t know it all
Back to school this week Aries because you don't know it all.
The Eight and King of Cups suggest this realisation, and the subsequent course of action, is quite a departure for you.
It may mean dropping or delaying a plan which you thought you’d just be getting on with by now. And it bothers you, because you’re impatient and think you can do this without any further interference or training.
But you can’t. The Eight of Coins shows up when we need to take a step back and refine or gain skills in order to progress.
It’ll all be worth it in the long run, and this bit of training or reading may even yield financial rewards later down the line.
You’re never the finished article and there’s always room for improvement... even for you, oh masterful Aries.
So, get the folders out, book the course, dust off your library card, sign up for the lecture… live and learn.
Taurus - New news sets things off
You’ve been getting ants in your pants, as shown by the bolshy Queen of Wands. It could be about work or maybe home.
But it’s not something you can just flip or switch as easy as 1,2,3 because as shown by the Ten of Coins it affects your long-term future plans.
It’s something you’re invested in and see as being a part of your life for a long time to come.
That said you’re a bit frustrated and dissatisfied with the current status quo.
Good news, Taurus, because a fast-moving boom of new news is going to hit you this week.
The Eight of Wands is the tarot’s communication card and visits us when new opportunities are winging in.
Hint: they’ll be swift, so you’ll need to react just as quickly, also they may come in from overseas, and, finally, they may look like they’re sweeping you off in a totally new direction.
Don’t resist, because it’ll all work out. You need this boost to get you back on track, even if it’s onto a slightly different trajectory.
Gemini - Keep your head when others lose theirs
There could be a bit of a squall ahoy on the Gemini ocean waves this week.
It’s not necessarily of your making or with you centre stage but you’ll feel the impact.
It’s a head versus heart battle as shown by the Queen of Cups versus the King of Coins.
Its root cause may be inheritance, property, or spending behaviour… and it’s going to kick off a bit. What others don’t realise about you Gemini is that you’re actually quite the peacekeeper.
Your way with words and your ability to see to the bottom of situations combine to make you a handy referee.
Your ability to smooth feathers, cut to the chase and lay out the possible resolutions is a strength. Be ready to play this role this week and mend some fences on behalf of people you love and like.
A good deed here and there is always a nice boost for your karma points with the universe too!
Cancer - Take control back
You’re notorious for putting others first and prioritising their needs and desires.
That said, you expect undying gratitude and loyalty from them as a result and so are often disappointed.
And there is Cancer’s life pattern in a nutshell!
This week you’re going to tear that story up.
The Five of Swords hints you’ve reached an enough is enough stage with something or someone.
You’re set to cut your losses and go.
It’s exhilarating isn’t it? The freedom, the power, the control over your own life.
We see the King of Wands and The Magician… both powerful DO IT cards.
Travel, movement, new projects and jobs, adventure, creation, entrepreneurship… all these opportunities suddenly seem possible and desirable to you.
A new era of self-reliance, control and creation of your destiny is looming into view. Run towards it!
Leo - Make them believe in you
The Seven of Wands crops up when we’re under threat and having to stand our ground to defend ourselves.
It also means we’re going to win through, so relax.
The root cause of this situation is that, somewhere, you’re in danger of “losing the dressing room”, so to speak.
And this little episode presents a perfect opportunity to regain others confidence fully.
The Three of Wands shows that you need their support, input and guidance to progress, and the Three of Coins shows that this will lead to a reward or fulfilment of an ambition.
Work promotions, pay rises, increase of responsibilities, investments in your training or projects are all possible if you play your cards right here.
Defend what you know to be right, in a diplomatic way, and also acknowledge where you need advice and help. People love to be asked for their input and feel needed, so make sure to offer that opportunity to those you wish (need) to impress.
Virgo - Make a childhood dream come true
Virgo, you do like to whittle! It’s in-built in your hardware, and the Nine of Swords suggests that you’ve been bottling stuff up again and fretting about your future.
The antidote to this spiral is to consciously shift your perspective to be led by your hopes not your fears. And the way to do this, as shown by the beautiful card combo of The Star and Six of Cups, is to revitalise a childhood dream.
Something you used to love doing, someone you were fond of, a place you adored visiting….
It will rejuvenate you and remind you how far you’ve come, and what wonderful magic is still in store.
This week, go get it.
The Star blesses all of your endeavours, so use its magic fairy dust to help make a (long-held, childish) wish come true.
Small or big, silly or sensible, useful or fanciful… doesn’t matter as long as it inspires you.
Don’t waste this wonderful magical energy, it’s with you all week and guarantees this will work out!
Libra - Decisions, decisions...
Okay Libra, I know and you know that you really aren’t good at making swift, strong decisions.
It’s not your fault. You can see all sides of every argument, love weighing up options, feel compelled to get to the best possible answer and that takes time.
But, come on, you know you need to come down on one side or the other.
Judgment is a power card requiring you to close a chapter, process its contents, atone or celebrate accordingly, and then move on.
The Seven of Cups shows this is all still whirring around in your imagination rather than coming to fruition in any useful way.
And the Queen of Swords has shown up to bring it all to a head.
She doesn’t mess about, she decides what she wants and gets it done.
It’s time to draw this to a close and make your mind up.
Scorpio - Protect your interests
You’ve got a little dream-come-true action going on, as shown by the Nine of Cups.
You are merrily working your way closer to something you’ve long-held dear and value highly.
It’s starting to come together… but then, uh oh, the Five of Swords shows up.
The “dream” is under threat, your hackles start to rise, the urge to fight back surges through your Scorpio tail… STINGER READY.
Well, at least don’t go on the attack anyway. The way through this rough patch is shown by the determined, guarded, Knight of Coins.
He would simply batten down the hatches and wait out the siege, trusting that they’ll wear themselves out eventually and this will pass.
It will, you know, so don’t waste your precious energy or strength fighting. Just defend, protect and hunker down for a bit. Then get back to being awesome.
Sagittarius - Don’t get dragged into crap
Oooh, you’ve got a LOT going on, Sagittarius… but that’s pretty standard for you.
The Two of Coins and Five of Wands combine to suggest it’s also quite absorbing, but not in a great way.
People are being difficult. They’re not working together, being positive and just getting on with stuff. In fact, it’s rather the opposite.
And it’s dragging you deeper into the mire, when actually there are other lovely things you’d rather be doing.
The Two of Cups suggests there’s a relationship you really want to invest your time and energy in this week, because it’s wonderful. And the universe agrees.
So, the way to deal with the “mire” is to see it as a game.
See the humour in the crappy behaviours, and imagine you’re plotting to manoeuvre your way through it all with minimum collateral damage and minimal time investment.
Do what you have to, then put it in a box and don’t think about it. Go see your lovely other half/friend/family and revel in their company.
Because that is where your head (and heart) should be at.
Capricorn - Be prepared to change
The “killer card” this week is Death (lol, geddit?).
Seriously though, it doesn’t mean “death” but rather change and transformation.
A dying of old ways and ideals and a birth of a new way of going about stuff.
It’s significant and it’s also all for the best, even if the process of change (as ever) feels difficult or painful.
The Knight of Coins and Queen of Cups hints you’ll feel emotional and under threat about this which isn’t unusual when change visits us.
It also hints it will be character-building and bring both material reward and emotional resilience in the long run.
Aren’t both of those worth having? See this process as a strengthening of your core character and ability to “win” at life, rather than a problem, a draining experience or even a challenge.
Face everything that comes at you with the self-belief and confidence.
It’s all nudging you into a better position.
Eyes front, chin up, chest out, Capricorn, you’ve got this.
Aquarius - Throw a party!
The Hermit is a tarot card that represents the Aquarian habit of living in his or her own head very well.
It gets a bit dark in there for the serious Aquarian, and the Three of Cups has swept into town this week to tell you to lighten up and come out to play.
The world is full of magic and things for us to experience.
This Three of Cups always shows up when we need to get out there with people we love and like.
The Page of Swords is a green light to say go ahead and do it. All these cards combine to suggest it’s time you threw a party!
Home would be ideal, but you could go out, a picnic, a park soiree, a beer garden, a World Cup themed shindig even!
It’s not just frivolous fun, it’s a reminder of your value in the world with the people around you, and why you work so hard (so that you can play hard too).
So, do I get an invite too?
Pisces - A sacrifice will have rewards
You may not realise it, but others are noticing how hard you’re working and what pressures you’re under.
The Hanged Man suggests you’ve made some sacrifices recently and therefore pushed your own immediate desires and needs to the back burner.
It’s not been easy- as shown by the competitive Seven of Wands.
You are often tempted by others and your own inner voice to just jack it all in and follow the path of least resistance.
The message here comes via the Three of Coins: keep going because this is being noticed and it will be rewarded.
Your diligence, persistence and flexibility are highly valued and, soon, an opportunity to get what you richly deserve and have earned will come your way. So, keep on, keeping on.
